Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable Dove Gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for stability; the uprights allow quick vertical adjustment of beams with no "dead spots," enabling beam placement along the full height of the post. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while eliminating wasted space; each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots and is equipped with MIG welded clips and a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, allowing level spacing adjustments as storage needs change. The package includes particle board decking to add more storage levels to the adjustable metal storage racks.
