Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock areas, and medical supply storage in hospitals. It features a durable dove gray powder coat finish for protection against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready for installation. The uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for enhanced stability and slots for easy vertical beam adjustment without any dead spots, allowing beam placement along the entire height of the post. A single pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and reducing wasted space. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs that engage with the upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. The beams install without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures them to prevent accidental displacement. The system allows adding more levels with ribbed decking for enhanced storage capacity.
