Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray for protection against everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. Uprights have slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without "dead spots," allowing optimal placement along the entire height. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Beam clips are MIG welded, each beam end includes three studs that engage upright slots, and beams adjust on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding solid decking to this adjustable metal storage rack system.
