Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The 14-gauge heavy-duty beams feature a unique "Z" design to increase strength, load capacity, and resist tipping, with MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each end to engage the metal rack uprights. Beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent displacement. Additional levels with particle board decking can be added to customize storage space. The rack complies with relevant industry standards, and specific dimensions and detailed specifications are provided with the product.
