Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing that is MIG welded for added stability; these uprights come fully assembled, allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the entire height, and can support up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also of 14-gauge steel, have a unique "Z" beam design for enhanced strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and provide efficient space utilization. Beam ends incorporate MIG welded clips and three studs for engagement with upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and install without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement of beams. Additional levels with particle board decking can be added to customize storage. The rack complies with industry standards and comes with warranty terms covering defects in materials and workmanship.
