Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for a variety of storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray to protect the shelving from everyday wear. The starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each upright shipped fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. The uprights have slots that allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any "dead spots," accommodating beam placement along the entire height. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while maximizing space. Beams feature MIG welded clips and each end has three studs to engage with the upright slots; beams adjust on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking can be added to create additional storage levels, increasing the versatility of the adjustable metal storage racks. Warranty terms apply as specified by the manufacturer.
