Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday wear. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, pre-assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability and slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the post height. A single pair of bulk storage rack uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and space wastage. Beams have MIG welded clips for added strength, with three studs per end to engage the upright slots and allow adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to the post, preventing accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking for a customizable, adjustable metal storage rack solution.
