Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, featuring tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability, and slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, allowing optimal placement along the entire post height. One pair of these uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips for additional strength, with three studs at each end to engage the upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and install without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The kit includes ribbed decking to add more storage levels, and the entire steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish to protect against everyday wear.
