Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The unit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel that comes assembled and ready to install, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded for added stability and vertical slots for quick beam adjustment without dead spots along the post height. When paired with a starter unit, two uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and stability while eliminating wasted space; the beams have three studs on each end to engage the uprights’ slots, are adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, install without tools, and include fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking can be added to increase storage options by creating additional levels on the adjustable metal storage racks.
