Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock areas, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams on 1-1/2-inch centers with no "dead spots," enabling optimal beam placement along the entire height of the post. When paired with a starter unit, two uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. Beam ends have three studs to engage the rack upright slots, with beam clips MIG welded for added strength. Beams install without tools, and fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking can be added to create additional storage levels and options.
