Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, as well as hospitals for medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability. The uprights allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots to disrupt beam placement along the entire height, and a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength, load capacity, resistance to tipping, and efficient use of space. The beams have MIG welded clips and three studs on each end to engage upright slots, adjustable in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments without tools, and feature fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be added with ribbed decking to create customizable metal storage racks.
