Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supplies storage. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each preassembled with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts to enhance stability. The uprights have slots enabling quick vertical adjustment of beams without "dead spots," allowing beam placement along the entire height of the post, and can support up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, feature a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. Beams are equipped with MIG welded clips and three studs at each end to engage the uprights’ slots, with adjustable positioning on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Tool-free beam installation and fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking. The product includes a warranty covering manufacturer defects for a specified period.
