Lyon's® heavy-duty gravity flow racks provide a warehouse inventory flow solution designed for a variety of storage needs, featuring a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray to protect the flow storage system from everyday use. This gravity racking system includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for enhanced stability, and the uprights have slots that allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any "dead spots," supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The kit includes eight heavy-duty beams of 14-gauge steel to create four storage levels, each level supporting up to 3,000 lbs. The design of the gravity flow racks involves levels offset so that the rear of each level is higher than the front, enabling inventory items to slide forward when the front item is removed, thus maintaining FIFO (first-in, first-out) inventory rotation, which is especially beneficial for perishable goods, pharmaceuticals, healthcare supplies, automotive parts, and other applications requiring quick turnover and accuracy in picking. These racks help reduce waste, enhance picking speed and accuracy, and are easy to assemble.
