The Lyon® Rivet Rack foot plate is a boltless rivet shelving part designed specifically for Lyon's® Rivet Racks to provide extra stability and ensure a safe and sturdy installation. It is compatible with both angle posts and T-posts of these commercial storage racks. The kit includes nuts and bolts to attach the foot plate to the lowest beam on the floor level, with the lowest beam installed in the first and second slots when foot plates are in use. The steel plate is pre-drilled to accept floor anchors, featuring holes sized to fit a 3/8-inch diameter concrete wedge anchor, and it is recommended to secure the foot plate using a 3-inch wedge anchor. For optimal placement, when used with angle posts, the majority of the foot plate should be positioned underneath the medium-duty rack. The foot plate’s dimensions and specifications are engineered for commercial storage rack stability, ensuring that each section of boltless metal rack is securely anchored with a foot plate under each post.
