The Gal.Axy™ pastry brush, measuring 2 inches, features one-piece smooth finish plastic handles that are easy to clean. The bristles are epoxy-set to the ferrules, preventing bacteria from harboring air pockets. Tapered nylon bristles with chisel-point trim offer superior surface coverage, while the soft white nylon bristles possess a high fluid retaining capacity, making them more durable than inexpensive polypropylene bristle imitations. This pastry brush is available with Spectrum® blue or red bristles, designed to help prevent cross-contamination when preparing fish and raw meats, and provides added contrast when working with white frostings or other white foods.
