The Sparta® Meteor® Pastry/Basting Brush is a 2" brush designed with a molded into-the-handle hook that allows it to hang on the lip of crocks or other containers, preventing bristle burn, melt, or distortion from resting against hot pan bottoms. This hook also elevates the bristles off counter tops to keep them clean and help prevent contamination. The brush features nylon bristles that offer excellent chemical resistance and are molded into the handle to eliminate bacteria-harboring air pockets. It is available with Spectrum® blue or red bristles to help prevent cross-contamination when preparing fish and raw meats, or to provide added contrast when working with white frostings or other white foods. The product is BPA free.
