The Gal.Axy™ Pastry Brush measures 3 inches and features a one-piece smooth finish plastic handle that is easy to clean. The bristles are epoxy-set to the ferrules, preventing the harboring of bacteria in air pockets. It is equipped with tapered nylon bristles with a chisel-point trim, offering superior surface coverage, while the soft white nylon bristles possess a high fluid-retaining capacity, making them more durable than inexpensive polypropylene bristle imitations. The brush is available with either Spectrum® blue or red bristles, which are designed to help prevent cross-contamination when preparing fish and raw meats, as well as providing added contrast when working with white frostings or other white foods.
