The Edwards 870P AC series are low-current high decibel panel mount vibrating horns designed for heavy-duty use, featuring a corrosion-resistant finish and a volume adjustable setting. This kit is completely assembled and includes a gasket, complying with NEMA type 4X rated enclosure requirements. It is designed for semi-flush panel mounting using the supplied mounting template or installation on a 4" (102mm) square box. For NEMA 4X installations, the unit should be mounted to a flat smooth surface of a NEMA 4X enclosure using the provided 1/8" (3mm) gasket, following the installation instructions provided with the unit. The horn is suitable for applications in panel boards and switchboards where a distinctive urgent signal is necessary for timing general alarms and warnings. Additionally, the kit includes the 872-PO plastic projector AdaptaHorn accessory, which can be snapped onto any AdaptaHorn and is available as a separate item.
