The Edwards 871P DC series are low-current high decibel panel mount vibrating horns designed for heavy-duty use and are compatible with PLC models. These horns feature a corrosion-resistant finish and a volume-adjustable capability, ensuring effective performance. They come completely assembled and are UL listed to NEMA Type 4X enclosure requirements. The design allows for semi-flush panel mounting using the supplied mounting template or installation on a 4" (102mm) square box. For NEMA 4X installations, the unit should be mounted to a NEMA 4X enclosure with a flat smooth surface using the provided 1/8" (3mm) gasket, following the installation instructions. Ideal applications include use in panel boards and switchboards where a distinctive urgent signal is needed for timing general alarms and warnings. Additionally, the 872-PO plastic projector AdaptaHorn accessory can be snapped onto any AdaptaHorn and is available as a separate item.
