The Edwards 876 AC series is a line of low-current high decibel vibrating horns designed for heavy-duty use, featuring full UL listing to NEMA 4X enclosure requirements. The kit includes a die-cast weatherproof box with a durable corrosion-resistant electrostatic heat flowed powder epoxy gray finish, suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. It offers convenient plug-in assembly and is completely assembled for immediate installation. The volume adjustable design allows customization of the sound output, and the unit can be mounted on conduit or any flat surface with a 3/4" (19mm)-14 NPT conduit tapped hole on the top, alongside knockouts located on the bottom and rear. These horns are ideal for applications requiring a distinctive urgent signal, including timing, scheduling, paging, general alarm, personnel warning, and emergency evacuations. An optional 872-PO plastic projector AdaptaHorn accessory is available separately, which snaps onto any AdaptaHorn.
