The Universal Adaptaplate allows for versatile mounting directly on the surface or onto an electrical box, fitting any single gang box size of 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), or 4" (102mm) octagon box, as well as plaster covers with mounting holes located on 2 3/4" (70mm) centers. This kit includes 6" gong sizes and the option to use 10" bells on 4" (102mm) square boxes. The DC vibrating bells generate a long, continuous ringing sound, with the striker engaging in rapid-fire action as long as current is supplied. Suitable for outdoor applications when mounted on a Cat. No. 449 weatherproof back box, this system is specified for timing scheduling and general alarm applications.
