The 86 Series valves are crafted from premium quality barstock, ensuring long-lasting durability. They feature a standard 316 grade stainless steel ball and stem, with seats and seals made of glass filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E), making them chemically inert and suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The standard port construction provides excellent flow characteristics. The 500 Series pneumatic actuators employ a reliable and trouble-free rack and pinion design, ensuring precise coupling of the actuator drive shaft to the valve stem, with the valve stem nut fixed to the actuator shaft. This design minimizes backlash, optimizes stem seal life, and prevents stem nut back off. Actuators are permanently lubricated, removing the need for a lubricated air supply. Key features include a self-compensating valve stem seal design for long, leak-tight maintenance-free service, bubble tight closure with each valve bubble tested for leak-free service, 100% duty cycle performance, and a compact, lightweight construction. The actuator is equipped with PTFE impregnated hard anodized surfaces and stainless steel external trim for excellent corrosion resistance, a manual override, standard in-line or cross-mount valve to actuator configurations, NPT air connections for remote piloting, and NAMUR interface for direct solenoid valve piloting. The valve to actuator mounting design ensures alignment and rigidity, with optional pilot or solenoid valves and limit switches available. All products are made in the U.S.A., specifically in Raymond, New Hampshire.
