The 87 Series features the latest innovation in a premium quality, long-lasting, and truly maintenance automated valve suited for a variety of applications, including those involving high cycling where stem seal leakage is problematic or where extended maintenance-free service is desired. The kit includes seats and seals made of glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E) and Viton, which are compatible with a wide range of media/applications, and boasts standard port construction for excellent flow characteristics. The valve is operated by a double-acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator that functions on 60-125 PSI air, featuring a lightweight aluminum body with hard anodized surfaces that provide excellent corrosion resistance. The actuator is permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for a lubricated air supply, and includes (2) 1/8 NPT air port connections for remote piloting or an optional NAMUR interface for direct pilot valve mounting. Key attributes include a patented self-compensating valve stem seal design for long, leak-tight service, bubble-tight closure with bubble testing to ensure leak-free operation, 100% duty cycle performance, a compact size, and a standard manual override.
