The 87 Series features the latest innovation in a premium quality, long-lasting, and truly maintenance-automated valve, suited for a variety of applications including those involving high cycling where stem seal leakage is problematic or where extended maintenance-free service is desired. The kit includes seats and seals made of glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E.) and Viton, suitable for a wide range of media/applications. It is designed with standard port construction for excellent flow characteristics and is operated by a double-acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator that functions on 60-125 PSI air. The actuator consists of a lightweight aluminum body with hard anodized surfaces for excellent corrosion resistance and is permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for a lubricated air supply. Additionally, it comes with (2) 1/8 NPT air port connections for remote piloting or an optional NAMUR interface for direct pilot valve mounting. Key features include a patented self-compensating valve stem seal design that ensures long, extended leak-tight service, bubble-tight closure with each valve being bubble tested to provide leak-free service as installed, 100% duty cycle performance, compact size, manual override capability, and is made in the U.S.A. in Raymond, New Hampshire.
