The 86 Series valves are constructed from premium quality barstock, ensuring long-lasting durability and featuring a standard 316 grade stainless steel ball and stem. The seats and seals are made from glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E.), making them chemically inert and suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The standard port construction offers excellent flow characteristics. Paired with 600 Series electric actuators, which are designed for durability and longevity, these valves feature a cast aluminum base that dissipates internal heat through a thermal conductor, extending motor life. The brushless motor is housed within a Viton sealed enclosure to protect against moisture and contamination, while AC motors come equipped with auto-resetting thermal overload circuits. The motor limit switches enable signaling of valve positions, with additional limit switches available for signaling with non-motor voltage. Key features include a self-compensating valve stem seal design ensuring long, leak-tight maintenance-free service, bubble-tight closure that is bubble tested for leak-free service, compact size and lightweight construction, and a simple push-button manual override design with a fold-out lever handle for easy manual operation. The actuators also have an integral thermal overload protection circuit, a permanently lubricated drive train, a PTFE-coated cast aluminum actuator base with a DuPont FR50 cover, and stainless steel external fasteners for maximum corrosion resistance. The equipment is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure and is made in the U.S.A. in Raymond, New Hampshire.
