The 87 Series features the latest innovation in a premium quality, long-lasting, and truly maintenance automated valve, suitable for a variety of applications, particularly those involving high cycling where stem seal leakage is a concern or where extended maintenance-free service is required. The valve includes glass filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E) and Viton seats and seals, making it compatible with a wide range of media and applications. It has standard port construction for excellent flow characteristics and is operated by a double-acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator functioning on 60-125 PSI air. The actuator features a lightweight aluminum body with hard anodized surfaces for superior corrosion resistance and is permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for a lubricated air supply. The actuator includes (2) 1/8 NPT air port connections for remote piloting or an optional NAMUR interface for direct pilot valve mounting. Key features involve its design for maintenance-free high duty cycle applications, a patented self-compensating valve stem seal design ensuring long, leak-tight service, bubble-tight closure with each valve bubble tested for leak-free installation, 100% duty cycle performance, compact size, and a standard manual override.
