The 87 Series features the latest innovation in a premium quality, long-lasting, and truly maintenance-automated valve, ideal for a variety of applications, particularly those involving high cycling where stem seal leakage is problematic or where extended maintenance-free service is desired. It includes seats and seals made of glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E) and Viton, suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The valve boasts standard port construction for excellent flow characteristics and is operated by a double-acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator functioning on 60-125 PSI air. This actuator has a lightweight aluminum body with hard-anodized surfaces for superior corrosion resistance and is permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for a lubricated air supply. Additionally, it features (2) 1/8 NPT air port connections for remote piloting or an optional NAMUR interface for direct pilot valve mounting. Key features include a patented self-compensating valve stem seal design for extended leak-tight service, bubble-tight closure with each valve bubble tested for leak-free operation, 100% duty cycle performance, compact size, and manual override capability.
