The 87 Series is a premium quality, long-lasting, and truly maintenance automated valve designed for a variety of applications, particularly those involving high cycling where stem seal leakage is a concern or where extended maintenance-free service is desired. It features glass filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E) and Viton seats and seals, making it suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The valve incorporates a standard port construction to ensure excellent flow characteristics and is operated by a double-acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator that functions on 60-125 PSI air. This actuator boasts a lightweight aluminum body with hard anodized surfaces for superior corrosion resistance, is permanently lubricated, and equipped with (2) 1/8 NPT air port connections for remote piloting, as well as an optional NAMUR interface for direct pilot valve mounting. Key features include a patented self-compensating valve stem seal design for long, leak-tight service, bubble-tight closure that is bubble tested for leak-free performance, 100% duty cycle performance, a compact size, and a standard manual override. The product is made in the U.S.A. in Raymond, New Hampshire.
