Product Details
The 86 Series valves are constructed from premium quality barstock, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliability. They feature a standard 316 grade stainless steel ball and stem, with seats and seals made of glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E), which is chemically inert and suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The standard port construction promotes excellent flow characteristics. The 500 Series pneumatic actuators utilize a dependable rack and pinion design for trouble-free operation. The design of the valve to actuator mounting precisely couples the actuator drive shaft to the valve stem, while the fixed valve stem nut with the actuator shaft enhances performance by minimizing backlash and ensuring optimum stem seal life, thus preventing stem nut back-off. These actuators are permanently lubricated and do not require lubricated air supply. Key features include a self-compensating valve stem seal design that guarantees long, leak-tight, maintenance-free service, bubble-tight closure with each valve bubble tested for leak-free service, and 100% duty cycle performance. The compact and lightweight construction, along with PTFE impregnated hard anodized surfaces and stainless steel external trim, provides excellent corrosion resistance. Additional options include manual override, standard in-line or cross-mount valve to actuator configurations, NPT air connections for remote piloting, and a NAMUR interface for direct solenoid valve piloting. The valve to actuator mounting design assures alignment and rigidity, and optional pilot/solenoid valve(s) and limit switches are available. This product is made in the U.S.A., specifically in Raymond, New Hampshire.
