The 86 series valves are designed for long-lasting durability, manufactured from premium quality barstock and featuring a standard 316 grade stainless steel ball and stem. The seats and seals are made of glass-filled reinforced PTFE (P.T.F.E), which is chemically inert, making these valves suitable for a wide range of media and applications. The standard port construction ensures excellent flow characteristics. The 500 series pneumatic actuators utilize a reliable and trouble-free rack & pinion design, providing precise coupling of the actuator drive shaft to the valve stem. A fixed valve stem nut with the actuator shaft enhances stability, while a rigid mounting bracket minimizes backlash, optimizes stem seal life, and prevents stem nut back-off. These actuators are permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for a lubricated air supply. Key features include a self-compensating valve stem seal design for long, leak-tight maintenance-free service, bubble-tight closure with each valve bubble tested for leak-free performance, 100% duty cycle capability, compact size with lightweight construction, PTFE impregnated hard anodized surfaces, and stainless steel external trim for excellent corrosion resistance. The actuators provide manual override, can be configured for standard in-line or cross-mount valve to actuator setups, feature NPT air connections for remote piloting and NAMUR interface for direct solenoid valve piloting, and guarantee alignment and rigidity in the valve to actuator mounting design. Optional pilot/solenoid valves and limit switches are available. This product is made in the U.S.A. in Raymond, New Hampshire.
