The Edwards hazardous location fire bell features 6", 8", and 7" gong sizes, designed for low power drain to ensure efficient operation over long wire runs. It includes an adjustment-free self-compensating plunger and boasts corrosion resistance. This heavy-duty bell delivers a distinctive, clear ring free of mechanical clatter, with vibrating bells producing a long, continuous ringing sound as the striker rapidly strikes the gong as long as current is applied. The bell is suitable for indoor applications requiring supervision of signaling circuit field wiring, although it may also be used for unsupervised applications. It features a powder coat epoxy finish in red and can be mounted to any solid surface using two 3/8" (7 mm) bolts and washers. Each unit is supplied with wire leads and a sealing fitting for connection to 3/4" conduit. The 439DEX fire alarm bells are ideally suited for fire alarm applications in refineries, gasoline storage and dispensing areas, flammable liquid areas, paint spray booths, aircraft refueling areas, granaries, flour mills, coal mines, and other combustible dust areas.
