Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking areas in office buildings, campus universities, and similar environments, providing protection against extreme weather. These shelters feature an air flow vented roof to minimize smoke accumulation and can also serve as bus stops, equipped with an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for user comfort. Constructed with industrial-grade standards, the shelters are built to endure years of outdoor use and are finished with dark bronze anodized aluminum. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels supported by a structural frame, while the glass panels are made from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and shipped in a cost-effective manner. All models comply with ADA standards. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It should be noted that due to Florida building code, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, which may affect the sale of certain shelters in that state. Shelters sold in Florida will need engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for compliance with building codes are also available for an extra charge.
