Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a designated area while shielding smokers from extreme weather. These shelters can also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest for comfortable seating. Constructed with industrial-grade framing systems, these shelters are built to endure years of outdoor use and come with a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish. The roof consists of 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance, while the glass panels are made of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated in sections for ease of assembly and crated for cost-effective shipping, all models are ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Note that due to Florida Building Code, the wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Any shelters sold to Florida will need additional engineering services, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra cost if necessary.
