Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and more, providing a designated smoking area that shields smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest for added comfort. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke buildup inside the shelter. Built to industrial grade standards for durability, the shelters feature a clear anodized aluminum finish, an 11" wide standing seam roof with color coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels, and clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass panels. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly, the shelters are packaged for economical shipping and are ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided models with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code, shelters must withstand wind loads of 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain models cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available as needed.
