Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking areas in environments such as office buildings and campus universities, offering protection from extreme weather. These shelters provide a designated smoking area while also serving as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. The air flow vented roof helps minimize smoke buildup inside the shelter, contributing to a safer environment that can reduce OSHA fines and insurance premiums. Constructed with industrial-grade standards, these shelters are built to withstand years of outdoor use and have a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame, while the glass panels are made from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for cost-effective shipping. All models are ADA compliant, with options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available upon request. Note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind-load specifications range from 130 mph to 180 mph, which may restrict the sale of certain shelters in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can also be provided for an extra charge, if necessary.
