Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in various settings such as office buildings and campus universities, providing protection from extreme weather conditions while creating a designated smoking area. These shelters can also serve as bus stops and come equipped with an extruded aluminum bench and backrest for added comfort. Constructed with industrial-grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use, while the dark bronze anodized aluminum finish adds aesthetic appeal. The flat roof features 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance, and the glass panels are made from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Prefabricated in sections for easy assembly, these shelters are crated for low-cost shipping and comply with ADA standards. There are options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind-load ratings range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters may not be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra charge if required.
