Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments, suitable for office buildings, campus universities, and other locations. These shelters provide a designated smoking area while safeguarding smokers from harsh weather. They can also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. The air flow vented roof helps to minimize smoke accumulation inside the shelter. Constructed to industrial grade standards, these smoking shelters are built with a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a robust structural frame, while the glass panels are made with clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for economical shipping, all models are ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available. Note that due to Florida building code, wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Engineering services for compliance in Florida are available at an additional cost, along with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations if required.
