Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are ideal for creating designated outdoor smoking areas for office buildings, university campuses, and similar settings, while also protecting users from extreme weather. These shelters can double as bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. The air flow vented roof helps mitigate smoke accumulation inside the structure. Built to industrial-grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use. The smoking shelters feature a clear anodized aluminum finish, with a standing seam roof constructed from 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame. Glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for straightforward assembly and are crated for economical shipping. All models meet ADA compliance standards, with options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind loads in Florida are between 130 mph and 180 mph, and certain designs cannot be sold in the state. Any shelter sold to Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for compliance with building codes can be provided at an extra charge if needed.
