Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a designated smoking area while protecting users from harsh weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke accumulation inside the shelter, contributing to reduced OSHA fines and lower insurance premiums. Constructed with a robust industrial-grade framing system, these smoking shelters are built to endure years of outdoor use and feature a clear anodized aluminum finish. The standing seam roof is crafted with 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels mounted over a structural roof frame, while the glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are available in pre-fabricated sections for straightforward assembly and are crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA standards, and options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes can be arranged. Additionally, it is important to note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, which may affect the sale of some shelters in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for compliance with building codes can be provided at an extra charge if required.
