Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a designated area while safeguarding smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also function as bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. The airflow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter, which aids in reducing OSHA fines and lowering insurance premiums. Built to industrial grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use, while the dark bronze anodized aluminum finish enhances aesthetics. The standing seam roof comprises 11" wide, color coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame, and the glass panels are crafted from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly, these outdoor shelters are crated for economical shipping. All models are ADA compliant, with options available for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes can be accommodated. It is important to note that due to Florida building code, shelters in Florida must withstand wind-loads between 130 mph and 180 mph, and some models cannot be sold there. Engineering services will be required at an additional cost for all shelters sold to Florida, along with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance, also available at additional cost if needed.
