Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments suitable for office buildings, campus universities, and other locations, providing a designated area while protecting smokers from extreme weather. These shelters feature an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating and include a vented roof to minimize smoke build-up inside. The robust framing system adheres to industrial-grade standards for durability, while the shelters are constructed with a clear anodized aluminum finish. The standing seam roof utilizes 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels supported by a structural frame, and the clear panels are made from 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated for easy assembly and shipped in a cost-effective manner, all models comply with ADA standards. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters featuring a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available, although due to Florida building code requirements, shelters for Florida must accommodate wind-loads of 130 mph to 180 mph, and all shelters sold to Florida will necessitate additional engineering services. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an additional cost if required.
