Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated smoking area that protects users from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. The air flow vented roof helps minimize smoke build-up inside the shelter. Constructed with industrial-grade framing systems, these smoking shelters are built to withstand years of outdoor use and feature a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame, while the glass panels are made of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for economical shipping, and all models are ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available. Note that due to Florida building code requirements, the wind-load capacity in Florida is between 130 mph and 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate additional engineering services, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
