Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are ideal for creating designated outdoor smoking areas for office buildings, campus universities, and similar environments while offering protection from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. The air flow vented roof design helps reduce smoke build-up inside the shelter. Constructed with a durable framing system to meet industrial grade standards, these smoking shelters are designed for long-term outdoor use and finished with clear anodized aluminum. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide, color coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame, and the glass panels are made of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA standards, and options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left and right open front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, the wind-load for shelters in Florida ranges from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some models cannot be sold in Florida without additional engineering services. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
