Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a designated area that protects users from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for added comfort. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter, contributing to safety and compliance by helping to reduce OSHA fines and insurance premiums. Built with industrial-grade standards, the framing system is durable for years of outdoor use, while the dark bronze anodized aluminum finish enhances its aesthetic appeal. The standing seam roof consists of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural roof frame, and the clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass panels provide visibility and protection. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and are crated for cost-effective shipping. All models are ADA compliant, with options including three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available. Note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind-load ratings for shelters in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters may not be available for sale in the state. Shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an additional cost if necessary.
