Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar settings, providing a designated smoking area while protecting users from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also function as convenient bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench with backrest for comfort. Constructed with a framing system that meets industrial-grade standards, the shelters are made with a clear anodized aluminum finish and feature break-resistant 1/4" laminated aluminum panels for the roof. The glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for low-cost shipping. All models are compliant with ADA regulations. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Due to Florida building code requirements, the wind load in Florida ranges from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in the state. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are also available at an additional charge if required.
