Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in locations such as office buildings and university campuses, providing a designated area that protects smokers from harsh weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest positioned along the rear wall for added comfort. Constructed from industrial-grade materials for durability, the smoking shelters feature a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish and a flat roof made with 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance. The transparent panels are made of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated for easy assembly and shipped in a crated format to reduce costs. All models comply with ADA standards. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It's important to note that due to Florida building codes, the wind load requirement varies from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold to Florida require additional engineering services, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra cost if necessary.
