Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments, ideal for office buildings and campus universities. These shelters offer a designated smoking area while protecting users from extreme weather conditions and can also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. Constructed with industrial-grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use. The shelters are made from clear anodized aluminum, with a flat roof consisting of 1/4" panels laminated with break-resistant aluminum. The glass panels utilize clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for ease of assembly and are crated for cost-efficient shipping. All models comply with ADA standards. Available options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It's important to note that due to Florida building code, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, which may restrict the sale of certain shelters in that region; additionally, engineering services for compliance are available at an extra cost. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations can also be provided for building code adherence, if needed.
