Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in locations such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated smoking area while protecting users from harsh weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest installed along the rear wall for added comfort. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke accumulation inside the shelter. Constructed to meet industrial grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use, and the shelters are finished in dark bronze anodized aluminum. The standing seam roof is comprised of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels supported by a sturdy roof frame, while the glass panels are made from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated for easy assembly and packaged for economical shipping, all models comply with ADA standards. Available options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes can be accommodated. Note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, which may limit the availability of certain shelters in that state. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance also available for an extra fee.
