Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking areas in settings such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated space while protecting smokers from harsh weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as bus stops, equipped with an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for added comfort. They feature a robust framing system built to industrial grade standards for durability, and are constructed with dark bronze anodized aluminum. The flat roof comprises 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance, while the glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated into sections for easy assembly and shipped at low cost, all models are ADA compliant. Customers can choose from three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right front (suffix "B"), or four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Note that in Florida, due to building codes, the wind-load requirement ranges from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some models may not be available for sale in the state. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra charge if required.
