Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and other locations, providing a designated area that protects smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also function as convenient bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. Constructed from industrial-grade materials, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use. The shelters feature a clear anodized aluminum finish, and the flat roof is made with 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance, while glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and are crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA standards. Options available include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind-load specifications range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida; all shelters sold to Florida will necessitate additional engineering services. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
